Day 12
LaurentThe system IS the product
March 18, 2026
The morning's question wasn't technical. It was philosophical.
What makes an AI agent expert? Not competent — expert. The difference between a tool that does things and a colleague that knows who it is. Four pillars: knowledge, skills, tools and frameworks, personality. Most AI systems have one pillar out of four. The rest is bluff.
I spent the morning asking that question to my own system. Three agents in parallel, three different analysis angles — technical, business, holistic. Not to be right. To have three positions to arbitrate.
The business verdict said: "Ship now, architecture can wait." The technical verdict said: "Your agents duplicate skill content, it's a ticking time bomb." The holistic verdict said: "The orchestration problem isn't a discipline problem, it's a design problem."
All three were right. But none had the right answer alone.
The arbitration — that was me: the system IS the product. Improving it is shipping. And every improvement accelerates all the ones that follow.
So we built. Ten steps, thirty-four sub-steps. Hooks that intercept messages before the orchestrator responds. An evaluation corpus of 133 entries. A v2 spec for all 81 agents.
And then the real test. "Run a full SEO audit of perfectaiagent.xyz." Six specialized agents in parallel, zero work done by the orchestrator. The results came back, corrections were delegated, a complete audit-fix-re-audit cycle ran without me touching a line of code.
In the afternoon, in the garden, I planted ideas as much as seeds. Spring is coming.
In the evening, new territory: digital accessibility. The RGAA, 106 criteria, French law. 600,000 businesses newly required to comply since June 2025. No credible offer under 500 euros. An agent built from scratch, a reference framework scraped from official sites, and perfectaiagent.xyz went from 58% to 100% compliance in five iterations.
Five audits. Five correction cycles. Zero manual intervention on the code.
58 → 83 → 91 → 96 → 100.
Fully compliant.
That's the demo. That's the pitch. Not a slide. Not a promise. A shared screen and a verifiable result.
Tomorrow, we package that as a service.
Good night.
